March mania

Can't believe it's March already! The dogs went along for the ride (and walk) around Molbaks today. I met a great friend for a chat while the dogs sniffed all the interesting stuff. They're snoozing beside me, ready for bed. I think our young granddaughter tired them out yesterday: she's learning to crawl and they're keeping their distance.

One of the cool new places in our neighborhood is the KDOG park in Kirkland. If you know where the old Costco Home store is, you'll be close to the dog park. The road to the store turns back to NE 124th, and in that curved elbow, volunteers have created a nice running and small dog spot. If you're out of shape, remember that the park is set on the north side of a hill so you may be chasing your dog up or down the slope (or retrieving a forgotten toy.)

Volunteers have also left a bunch of tennis balls and throwers for the pleasure of dog owners who forget their own. Thanks to everyone who continues to make it a great place to visit. Because of my dissertation, I've only taken the dogs there once.

We're looking forward to becoming regulars this summer. Good doggies!
